I've wanted to do a lighting exercise based on Denis Villineuve's Blade Runner 2049 for some time, but the Wallace Corporation spaces portrayed in the 2017 movie are so iconic it was difficult to find pre-made content to light on the Unreal Marketplace. For this reason I had to put on my level designer hat to create the space before I could begin to light it. It was important to me that this space was playable with all the rooms being connected, but my main concentration here was the movement of light across the various areas.
